Nicole Azzopardi is a charismatic 14- year old girl from the city of Mosta, Malta. Her career started at the tender age of seven when she was chosen to represent Malta in an international competition. This was part of the “Verdinote” festival held in Italy where she secured the second place. A year later she jetted off to the “Ti Amo” festival held in Romania and then to the “Tralcio D’Oro” festival in Bari, Italy, where she placed first in both festivals.


In 2007 she made it to the final round of the Maltese National Junior Song For Europe with the song ‘Life Is A Playground’, and in 2008 she was one of the finalists in the Junior Eurosong with two songs, namely, ‘Once Upon a Time’ and ‘Good Times’. In 2009, Nicole returned with a strong song “Fun, Fun, Fun ” and placed 5th.


Nicole is a fun loving lively girl. She enjoys listening to Mina, Alessandra Amoroso, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Shakira. Her dream is to become a TV programme host in relation to music, kids and pets. She currently owns a dog, a bird, 2 dwarf rabbits and 2 cats!

Besides singing, her hobbies include swimming, dancing and playing piano. Her vocal teacher is Glen Vella, who also participated in Malta’s Eurovision national finals in the past two years, both times placing in the top three.
