International Children and Youth Music festival Tähtede Laul 2013ˇ

Festival participation instruction
- Festival registration deadline is on the 15th of October 2013.
- Festival has participation fee 30 €
- Festival is opened to all private music schools, vocalists and ensembles in the age of 5-21 yr. across the world.
- Festival genres are: ethnic music, children music and songs in pop genre.
- Festival performance length: 10- 15 minutes.
- Festival performances are held in Tallinn various public concert venues.
- Festival participants must send their introductions at the latest 15th of October 2013.
- Festival and song contest participants will cover their travel- and living expenses.
Festival participant is required to attend:
- Festival opening
- Festival program on all days, 31st of October - 2nd of November 2013.
- Festival ending and Gala Concert.
- Festival participants are very welcomed to listen all the other concerts.
- Festival organizers have the right to use radio and TV call-in recording and photographic material without paying royalties for the artists.
- Festival organizers will honor one of the most interesting, and musically the best quality showing participant with the Award.
- Festival participants get free entrance to the Gala Concerts.
- Festival organizers have the right to choose the most interesting performers to the Gala Concert.
- Festival participants who are selected by the festival's organizers to the Gala Concert are obliged to participate.

Competition participation instruction

Competition is opened to all private music schools, vocalists and ensembles in the age of 5-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-16 yr. as a soloists and 11-13, 14-16,17-21 yr. as a vocal groups across the world.

Competition will be held in 2 categories: Soloists and Vocal groups (max 10 singers).

Competition participation terms:

Length of the song max. 3.30 minutes.
- Allowed performance: a capella, a digital piano accompaniment, with phonogram or with Live- band (max 4 members).

Soloists are allowed to use recorded backing vocalists or live backing vocalists (max 4 members).

Vocal groups perform live.

Festival participants must send their introductions at the latest 15th of October 2013.

If the artist performs with band, count of band members and technical needs as well are required to be sent by e-mail
